An exceptional curtain fabric made from 100% hemp. Basket is soft flowing, with a loosely woven structure that emulates the look of linen. Because this fabric is 100% natural, it is completely biodegradable. But using hemp has many more advantages; it is an extremely sustainable crop, requiring much less water than cotton, both to grow and during processing. Also the cultivation of hemp takes up less agricultural land than growing other natural fibres. Hemp grows quickly and easily, needing little to no pesticides, and the plant gives back again much of the nutrients it takes from the soil. In short, Basket is a beautiful fabric with a beautiful story to tell.
